Grasp the barbell with your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
Let your body hang freely, relax your arms, and tighten your abs.
Start with sets of 20 to 30 seconds and gradually increase the duration to 1–2 minutes.
Don’t let the simplicity of this movement fool you: it’s much more demanding than it looks!
2. Glute Bridge: Stabilizes the Pelvis and Protects the Back.
The glute bridge is essential for strengthening the glutes, stabilizing the pelvis, and relieving lower back pain. Too often neglected, it plays a crucial role in preventing injuries and improving physical performance.
To do it correctly:
Lie on your back with your knees bent, feet flat on the floor, and hip-width apart.
Raise your hips by resting on your heels while squeezing your glutes.
Hold the position for 2-3 seconds, then slowly lower yourself back down.
Do 2 sets of 10-15 repetitions. To increase the difficulty, try the single-leg version or add weights to your hips.
