Why do some people become stooped as they get older?

Posture changes due to several factors:

  • loss of muscle mass
  • weakness of the back
  • habits accumulated over the years
  • bone changes

This doesn’t happen overnight.

 1. The most common mistake: constantly slouching

  • looking at his mobile phone while tilting his head
  • leaning over the computer
  • sitting without adequate support

This generates:

  • tension in the neck
  • spinal misalignment
  • bodily adaptation over time

    2. Spending many hours sitting

    Remain seated without moving:

    • weakens postural muscles
    • promotes the curvature of the back
